We’ve had the most amazing and magical day at Christmas Fest! Everything was so thought out and was made to make it so special! There were 8 of us including 3 children (7,5 and 18 months old) they all loved it and loved meeting the elves and all the different experience rooms! It was so magical and everybody was so accommodating to us you never felt rushed at all! Everybody loved the ice skating at the end! Santa was so good best we’ve seen! We visited on Friday and we had a great time. It didn't feel busy when we were there at all. We arrived early and all had hot drinks before entering the experience.
We thought the elves were all great. Friendly, enthusiastic and great with the kids. Did not feel rushed at all like other reviews have stated. It felt like a personal experience to us.
The only waiting time was to see the big man himself, but it wasn't too long a wait.
The kids loved father Christmas. He gave each of them his time and asked what they'd like for Christmas.
The boys called it a "magical time" they were excited from start to finish and the ice skating at the end was a great way to end the experience.

We booked Christmas Fest Essex when we first started seeing posts about it coming back in September with not really knowing what to expect but wanting to support a new local family business. I can say that it massively surpassed my expectations.

The whole experience was exactly what we could have asked for, very personal not too overwhelming for my 4 year old but very engaging and interactive enough for my 10 year old. Each room was decorated beautifully with so much thought and the characters really brought it to life.

We had a couple of times where we had a bit of a wait to go onto the next stage but this was helped with an interaction from a well placed elf. The highlight for me was Mrs Claus, she was so wonderful with the children and this was a very special moment.

A lot of these experiences feel like it just churns people through but this defiantly did not feel like that, even after the experience with the ice skating and toasting marshmallows there was plenty of room for us to find a seat not overcrowded and no big extras pushed to spend more money.

The only feedback for next year would be for the purchasing of the Santa picture to offer different options, digital, snow globe, magnet etc rather than just the mounted picture.

I honestly couldn't rate this high enough we all truly had the most magical day thank you Christmas Fest and your magical elves.

Had the most magical time at Christmas fest my little girl said it was the best day of her life all the staff are so helpful and kind. We loved ice skating. And all the experiences made it so realistic would highly recommend

After visiting last year we were excited to see what additions had been made and we were not disappointed

The elves were all fantastic and interacted with my 7&9 year old. The addition of the kitchen and reindeers and magical door were my children’s favourite part.

The only thing we missed this year was the fire pit for toasting marshmallow’s

I do need to say a massive thank you to Kat. We met her before entering the experience when she praised my daughter for turning off the tap that someone had left running. I need to say thank you for how loving and caring she was towards my son who fell on the ice. Although it was very minor (think it was more the shock) he struggles to regulate his emotions but Kat was absolutely amazing and made sure he was ok, talking to him reassuring him but overall just a really lovely lady.

What an amazing experience me and the family had. So many amazing rooms with amazing elf’s and different characters. Santa and Mrs Claus were incredible with the kids! So many things to do after the experience like the ice skating and toasting marshmallows.

They could add a few more ideas such as mother Christmas reading the story (rather than an elf), decorating gingerbread in Santa’s kitchen and have  reindeer and huskies for example but the current experience is really good, loved the interaction from staff, ice skating and marshmallow toasting. Not too overcrowded, which is always good. I would say it’s on price point too-they’ve got the ticket price set at the right point.

We had the most wonderful evening at Christmas Fest. We’ve been on the search for an authentic feeling Santa experience for our 7 & 9 year old children. We’ve previously visited many other well known attractions as well as travelling to Finland. Christmas Fest ticked all of the boxes and we will definitely be returning! We loved experiencing the different activities/rooms as a family instead of in a large group and the pace of each aspect worked really well for the children. Santa was amazing and the elves made us feel really comfortable throughout the experience. The ice skating was fab and all of the staff were really helpful. So we have been to many Santas over the years as have adult children and now a 7 year old son , we have been uk Lapland , Disney land Paris , garden centres to name a few and honestly hand on heart this was the most magical , the most personal , well thought out experience !! My son is at a age where he is question a lot and Santa was incredible- had an answer for everything and soo quick with his responses , he came away and said thank you for taking me to the real Santa mummy.
The whole experience start to finish was great all the elves are amazing and so in character, it was raining on our day and there was staff handing out umbrellas!!
So much thought and effort has gone into this experience!! Thank you so much for giving us another year of magic as my son has been speaking non stop since Saturday about how amazing it was!!

Today we visited Christmas fest with my 3 and 5 year old sons we had no idea what too expect, I can confirm we will def be going back next year .. a lot of attention too detail had been put in place all the staff, and elf’s  were very attentive, and when Father Christmas came out it brought back so many childhood memories for me and husband he was brilliant! We visited today 23rd Dec and what a lovely magical place! There was an issue with the Santa in the mornings sessions however Matt was quick to explain what had happened. Although the Santa experience was disappointing (no fault of Christmasfest) we enjoyed the overall visit. The elves were great especially our story telling elf and charm the elf!
